Join the Washington Township Fire Department and learn great ways to keep your family safe! Go through Sparky’s Safety House, practice fire extinguisher usage through simulations, develop fire escape plans and learn what to do if there is a fire in your home. Bally Sports Group's Little Sluggers is a great introduction to the game of baseball for young children. The Little Sluggers T-Ball Program provides your child with a fun and positive t-ball experience that encourages continued participation in the sport. Bally Sports Group Minor League Baseball is a great introduction to coach-pitch baseball for beginning baseball players! Skills taught include batting, fielding, throwing and catching. The program also includes both practice and a modified, non-competitive game each week. As weeks progress, new aspects of the game/game scenarios are added to allow children to learn within the context of the game. Coaches emphasize the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship in a positive atmosphere. Kids leave the program wanting to continue their baseball careers! Learn dance basics, counting, choreography, coordination, and more - all set to Kpop music! Kpop is fun, happy, and wholesome music that is perfect for kids. This class consists of a warm-up, dance routine, and freestyle dance party at the end of each class. Learn a line dance and dance with pom poms, while fully immersed in Kpop for the entire 45 minutes. Parents receive a playlist, so kids can practice at home and listen to songs that quickly become their Kpop favorites.

Open to all skill levels for ages 8-14, Coach Kyle will take basketball players through a series of dynamic warm ups and conditioning workouts, skills and drills training, and small-group game play. Based on a collection of whimsical poems, Could You Hug A Cactus is a musical revue which follows a group of people as they come together to create a show that is bursting with poetry and creativity. Are you a fitness swimmer looking to get your mileage in? This program is ideal for fitness swimmers including triathletes, masters and former competitive swimmers. Receive weekly swim workouts from your instructor, which consist of mostly interval workouts that include kicks, pulls, stroke improvement drills and a main set. There are no organized or specific practice times for this class; complete your workout during any open swim time in the DCRC Lap Pool. Choose between 12 and 24-workouts below. Members proceed through check-in with their pass; non-members receive a 12- or 24 punch visit pass upon registering and have one visit deducted upon check-in. Any unused swim passes are forfeited at the conclusion of the session.

Aquatic Conditioning is an offering from the competitive pathway students can pursue upon completion of Level 5. The focus of the program is to continue building endurance and stroke technique on all major competitive strokes. It also encourages swimming as a part of a healthy lifestyle.

Playground Adventure is an extension of our first step in the summer camp experience that provides campers with a half-day outdoor camp. This camp provides a variety of amenities and activities designed to increase social development, self-esteem, and independence through games, songs, crafts, nature, and sports.
