This event is designed with everyone in mind: closed captioning is available and lighting is dimmed/low-lit for a cozy atmosphere. Create festive memories with your family at Gingerbread Creations! Join us in decorating gingerbread houses in a holiday-themed environment. The registration fee is per participant. Individuals who register receive one gingerbread house and materials to decorate. Parent/provider participation is required for individuals under the age of 18, and for participants who may require supervision or support throughout the program’s duration. This program is open to all ages. All participants who plan to decorate a gingerbread house must register. The registration fee is linked to the supplies provided for the event.

Program Overview
Bring your little ones to Preschool Open Gym! The gym is set up with age appropriate toys and equipment for you and your child to play and have a safe, fun time. This is an unstructured program and parent participation is a requirement throughout the program. Fee is $3.00 per child or those with a Preschool Open Gym (POG) punch pass can purchase their ticket for free and a punch will be deducted on site.

Program Expectations for Parents
This is an unstructured program and parent participation is a requirement throughout the program. Preschool Open Gym is not intended for daycares and playgroups. Parents are required to show a state ID card or DCRC membership card at the check-in desk to participate in the program. Parents will be asked to remove their child from the program for such things as: vomit; communicable-type diseases; and consistent behavior concerns that put the safety of other participants at risk. If your child needs a snack or drink, there is a lobby with tables and chairs for your convenience – there is no food or drink (other than water) permitted in the gym.

Program Fees/Supplies/Dress
Fee is $3.00 per child or those with a Preschool Open Gym (POG) punch pass can purchase their ticket for free and a punch will be deducted on site. The program fee is $3 per child/per visit or purchase a POG pass for $30 (11 visits). This fee applies to both residents and non-residents. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Both parents and participants are required to remove their shoes so please be prepared to go barefoot, or bring/wear socks.

Days Off
Preschool Open Gym does not operate on days Dublin City Schools are closed. If schools close due to inclement weather on a Friday, Open Gym will NOT be held. One/two hour school delays do not impact the Preschool Open Gym times – regular hours will be held. No POG on October 18 or November 29.

P.O.G. Pass
The P.O.G. Pass is a pass that allows for quick entry into the Preschool Open Gym program. It does not expire and is valid anytime Preschool Open Gym is in session. The P.O.G. Pass is $30 and is good for 11 visits (one free visit!). Families with multiple children may purchase a single pass for the household and share it between children. Those interested in purchasing a pass may pay for it in person at the DCRC membership desk.

This Program Operates via Ticket Sales
When you visit the Activity Registration Page and view the Preschool Open Gym program, it will appear as "unavailable" because we do not handle registrations for this program through our activity registration system. Instead, Ticket Sales manages the sign-up process to simplify registration for families. The program is listed on the activity registration page so that parents and guardians can view its details easily when searching for other programs.

Eager Engineers allows for hands-on learning and building with Lego Duplos & Citiblocs. Creative Classes uses their award-winning way of teaching by working left to right for reading readiness, teamwork, counting, letter recognition and more. Develop problem solving skills, individuality, self-confidence, and get your child ready for Kindergarten! New projects are introduced each & every week! Fall projects include: Lego Duplo Giraffe & Pyramid; Citibloc Alphabet Guide, Building Tower, Our Snake Shape Experiment and more. Learn the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, and the concept of gameplay in this fun, age-appropriate sports program perfect for first-time basketball players. Each week includes developmental instruction and modified recreation gameplay. Amazing Athletes uses a multi-sport program to benefit children physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. This program introduces the fundamentals of 10 different sports (soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf) in a non-competitive environment. Children in Amazing Athletes routinely gain greater confidence, learn to combine fitness with fun, and develop six key motor skills: balancing, running, jumping, throwing, catching, and kicking. Parent participation required.

Amazing Athletes shows kids just how much fun fitness can be! During our 30-35 minute weekly classes, children learn the importance of patience, teamwork, and self-confidence in a non-competitive, learning-based environment that fosters a love of healthy living. Through our structured active play, Amazing Athletes advance 6 different motor skills, encourage kids to explore and develop a variety of athletic skills through the introduction of 10 different sports, introduces the children to 16 different fruits and vegetables as well as important vitamins and minerals so that they go home excited about trying new, healthy foods and teach children to name and identify 10 major muscles key to maintaining good gross-motor movement and body wellness. With the help of the Amazing Athletes Muscle Zoo friend characters, we teach the fundamentals of martial arts in a high-energy progression-based program. Students learn & practice the traditions & skills of the sport, and receive colored belts and stripes for their achievement. At each class, students practice and perform a new skill, bringing it all together and closing out with a fun & interactive game. Kinderdance® is a developmental dance, motor skill, music, and fitness program, blended with academics, specifically designed for children ages 3-5. Children can be enrolled for up to 3 years with this 3 level program. Parents who want to give their child the opportunity to dance will love how Kinderdance® teaches the basics of Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Creative Movement while blending educational concepts, designed to teach to the total child. Little movers and their beloved adult are involved in a fun upbeat class filled with interactive songs and props that are just right for them! the class curriculum offers age appropriate exposure to developmental milestones through dance and sensory-motor activities while nurturing the bond between caregiver and child. Two year old children love to explore! Such freedom allows for a variety of physical activities. Our program allows a two year old’s natural curiosity to flourish in a multitude of ways with an emphasis on movement exploration. Young children enjoy a challenge, and when they are given the opportunity to test their abilities, it is both developmentally appropriate as well as safe. Kindertots® is designed to develop gross motor skills, movement creativity, physical development, and body awareness while learning numbers, colors, shapes, and songs. Our trained dance teachers / instructors ensure a learning environment that is fun, safe, and full of care. Enjoy a night out while your children enjoy an evening of fun at the DCRC! Snacks, activities and dinner are included. Children should dress in comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes to participate in the fun! Children must be at least 3 years old and potty trained.
