Youth Adaptive Lessons
Our adaptive aquatics program focuses on water safety, self-confidence, and other physical developmental skills. These classes are taught in a non-competitive environment, and each child progresses at his or her own pace. We request that all participants be accompanied in the water by a parent or provider.
Youth Adaptive Swim Lessons is intended for experienced swim students under the age of 13 who are comfortable in the water and have established water safety or swimming goals with an existing adaptive swim instructor. Caregivers must be in the water & present with the student at every lesson, unless otherwise stated by the Adaptive Swim Instructor.
This swim lesson session will be nine weeks in length, with class meeting once a week for 45 minutes. No class July 4th
Program Length: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration*
*During exploration time, instructor will be present to assist caregiver & student and provide feedback to swimmers while they work on skills learned or play games.
