Parent & Child 4

Parents start the session with their child in the water and then move out of the water slowly, away from their child until the instructor is teaching the children without the parents being present.

Parent and Child Classes are meant to familiarize young children with the water and prepare them for the American Red Cross Preschool courses. These levels are not designed to teach children to swim or to survive in the water on their own but to get them acclimated with water. Caregiver participation is required.
