Adolescent/Adult Adaptive Swim Lessons
Our adaptive aquatics program focuses on water safety, self-confidence, and other physical developmental skills. These classes are taught in a non-competitive environment, and each child progresses at his or her own pace. We request that all participants be accompanied in the water by a parent or provider.
Adaptive Adolescent/Adult Swim is for participants ages 13+ to focus on various water safety and swimming skills, and to help promote self-confidence in/around the water. Students will receive exploration time throughout the lesson and in between skills. Caregivers must be in the water & present with the participant at every lesson unless otherwise stated by the Adaptive Swim Instructor.
This swim lesson session will be nine weeks in length, with class meeting once a week for 45 minutes. No class July 4th
Program Length: 30 minutes with 15 minutes of exploration*
*During exploration time, instructor will be present to assist caregiver & student and provide feedback to swimmers while they work on skills learned or play games.
