First Responder Teen Academy

Interested in a future career as a first responder? This hands-on immersive learning program will give high school students a chance to explore the exciting career options available in emergency response services. Dublin Police officers and Washington Township firefighters will share various job-related skills and experiences needed to be successful in these fields. Students will learn about and participate in a variety of interactive sessions related to career preparation, rescue searches, fire safety, emergency medical care, criminal investigations, evidence collection and specialized tools and equipment. They will have the chance to tour City service buildings and even suit up in full firefighter gear. Participants should be interested in a public service career. Lunch and snacks provided.
Camp Cancellation Policy: To best reflect the unique circumstances of the First Responder Teen Academy (total program cost of $25.00), the standard Camps Cancellation Policy has been altered to reflect an adjusted non-refundable fee of $15.00. First Responder Teen Academy registrations cancelled prior to May 17, 2024 will be refunded in full minus a $15.00, non-refundable fee per child. Cancellations made after May 17 will not receive a refund. Transfer requests made after May 17 will not be accepted.
